Every Handmade Knife is One-of-a-Kind
Each of our knives is meticulously handmade, one at a time. While we strive to replicate designs as ordered, slight variations in shape, size, and materials are inevitable. This uniqueness is the essence of a handmade knife—it ensures no two pieces are ever the same.
Turnaround Time
Order processing times may vary depending on the complexity of the order and the availability of special materials. If we are unable to ship within the quoted time frame, we will issue a refund upon your request.
Orders placed through our Online Store are typically shipped within 5 business days from the date of purchase, subject to sheath availability.
Shipping
All domestic shipments are sent via insert courier without a marked commodity or insurance. Scanlen Knives assumes no liability for packages that are lost, stolen, or damaged in transit once the shipping label is processed. If you require insurance, expedited shipping, or a different carrier, please specify these requests at the time of purchase.
For international shipments, packages are sent via insert courier with a declared commodity of "CUTLERY" for the full value of the shipment. If you require a signature upon delivery, expedited shipping, or other special arrangements, these must also be requested at the time of purchase. Scanlen Knives is not liable for lost, stolen, or damaged items once the shipment has been processed.

Case-by-Case Return Policy
We aim to ensure every client is satisfied. While we stand firmly behind our craftsmanship, returns are handled individually to prioritise fairness and customer happiness. We do not accept refunds or exchanges after 7 days of delivery of the item.
To be eligible for a return, items must be unused, in their original condition, and include the sheath (if applicable). A receipt or proof of purchase is required to complete the return process. While we strive to provide the best service possible, we may be unable to accommodate a return without proof of purchase. Refunds or exchanges cannot be processed without a receipt or an email confirmation of your order from us.
Important Note: Custom-engraved items cannot be returned as they cannot be resold.

Return Shipping
Return shipping costs are the responsibility of the customer and are non-refundable.
We strongly recommend using a trackable shipping service or purchasing shipping insurance, as we cannot guarantee receipt of returned items. A tracking number or waybill must be provided for all returns. The time it may take for your exchanged product to reach you may vary depending on your location.
Important Note: We are not responsible for any loss or damage to items during transit.
Refund Process
Once your return is received and inspected, we will notify you via email to confirm receipt of the item and inform you whether your refund has been approved or rejected. If approved, your refund will be processed, and a credit will be applied to your original method of payment within a few business days.
Late or Missing Refunds
If you have not received your refund yet, please follow these steps:
- Check your bank account again to ensure it has not been posted.
- Contact your credit card company, as it may take some time for the refund to be officially processed.
- Reach out to your bank, as there may be additional processing time before the refund appears.
